Our Work in USA
About AICS USA
The African Institute for Children Studies (AICS) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States (EIN: 87-2908072), with a growing footprint in both Africa and the U.S. Our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan focuses on two key pillars: a Youth Innovation and Leadership Development Hub and a Substance Use Prevention Program that equips young people with life skills and positive alternatives.
Since 2016, AICS has proudly cultivated strong partnerships with leading U.S. institutions, beginning with the Global Center for Applied Health Research and the Center for Child Wellbeing at Arizona State University.
These collaborations led to our formal registration as an Arizona Corporation in 2020 and have since expanded to include grassroots and academic partners in Middlesex City (NJ), Worcester and Boston (MA), and Little Rock (AR) through the Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas.
We are now inviting technical support from individuals and corporations (staff time) and funding to support us in scaling our impact. We welcome technical support from experts willing to mentor young leaders and financial contributions to advance our community-led projects—both in the U.S. and across Africa. We run an active Youth Innovation Hub that serves as a collaborative space for young leaders who have successfully worked with peers across Kenya, with plans to expand this impact into Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Your support helps us build a generation of resilient, innovative, and socially engaged youth.

We are very grateful to Our Partner Organizations in USA
