Our Work in Africa
About AICS
The African Institute for Children Studies is a registered non-profit in Kenya and the U.S. (501(c)(3)). Our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan is centered on addressing three key challenges affecting children in Africa: reducing malnutrition in children under five, promoting safe internet use among teens, and keeping children in school through our “Child Labour Free Zones” program.
We support stakeholders in identifying and prioritizing interventions that offer the greatest return on investment in improving child well-being in Africa. Drawing on local knowledge, we work with communities, youth, experts, and governments to design and scale up effective solutions.
